I became fascinated with jewelry making while visiting San Miguel de Allende in Mexico. My husband spent his days playing tennis or golf and then tried his hand, most successfully, at painting. Meanwhile I was at loose ends wondering how best to fill my time. I explored all the little steets with their intriguing shops and markets and all the profusion of local crafts. This inspired me to take advantage of the vibrant colors and textures and make my own creations.
